Unattended Access allows you to connect to a remote device using a password, without the need for someone on the other end to accept the connection request. This means you can securely access remote devices anytime, even when no one is physically present to accept the connection.

With Unattended Access you can connect to a remote device by using just a password, without requiring the user to either accept or decline the connection. This feature is particularly useful for IT admins, system maintenance, managing servers, and professionals that need access to their office devices when working from home.

On the other hand, full access refers to the complete control over a remote device during a session. That, however, requires user approval with each new connection. This means that when you get a remote session request, you can control which rights you grant to the person on the other end, including full access to your device. This is typically used when someone needs temporary control over a system, such as for IT support or troubleshooting.

Yes, Unattended Access is safe when using a trusted remote access solution like AnyDesk. To use Unattended Access, you need to set up a password on the remote device, and access is only granted when the correct password is entered. For an added layer of security, you can also set up Two-Factor Authentication, as it prevents unauthorized access even if the password is compromised.

Remote Support is when a IT support agent provides real-time assistance to a user remotely. In this case, the remote connection requires user approval before access is granted. Remote support is commonly used for troubleshooting, customer assistance, and IT help desk services, where a technician connects to a device only when needed.

Unattended Access, however, is an AnyDesk feature that allows remote connections to a device at any time, without user intervention. This is commonly used for system maintenance, software updates, and remote work, making it ideal for businesses that need to manage multiple devices remotely without user interaction.

Setting up Unattended Access on AnyDesk is simple. If you are using AnyDesk 7 for Windows and newer versions, go to Settings > Security > Permissions > Permission Profile > Unattended Access. Then, set up a password to access this device remotely using Unattended Access.

If you're using AnyDesk for any other operating systems or you have a Windows version earlier than AnyDesk 7, then Unattended Access settings can be found under Settings > Security > Unattended Access. For more detailed instructions, refer to this Help Center article.

By default, Unattended Access is disabled on AnyDesk. So, you can only use this feature if you manually set up Unattended Access on your device. While there is no functionality called Attended Access, the opposite of Unattended Access would be a remote connection that requires someone to be present on the remote end to either approve or decline the connection request. This kind of connection is often used for IT support and troubleshooting, where the user needs to allow access each time someone needs to connect to their device.

With Unattended Access, on the other hand, no user interaction is needed. Once it is set up with a password, remote sessions can be initiated at any time, making it a practical solution for businesses, IT administrators, and professionals who need seamless remote access to their devices.
