The individual data processing operations and their scope differ depending on the provider of the respective social network and they are not necessarily traceable for us. For specific details about the collection and storage of your personal data as well as the type, scope and purpose of their use by the provider of the social network, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective provider as listed below.

We would like to point out that you use the respective social networks and their functions at your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). When you visit our social media pages, the providers of the social network collect your IP address and other information in the form of cookies on your end device. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the accounts, with statistical information about the interaction with us. For further details about how we process your data in this context and for an overview of how the respective social network provider process your data, please refer to section 2 below.

Purpose and legal basis

Our social media presence is intended to ensure the widest possible internet presence. The respective data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the advertising function of social media; we use social media to increase awareness of our company.

Information on the processing of your personal data

Data processing on our Facebook Fanpage

We use the technical platform Facebook and services of Meta Ireland Ltd, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. We would like to point out that you use this Facebook page and its functions at your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). Alternatively, you can also access the information offered via this page on our website at https://anydesk.com.

When you visit our Facebook page, Meta collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. The primary responsibility under the GDPR for the processing of insights data lies with Meta. Meta fulfills all obligations under the GDPR with regard to the processing of insights data.

As the operator of our Facebook page, we do not make any decisions regarding the processing of insights data and all other information resulting from Art. 13 of the GDPR, including the legal basis, identity of the controller and storage duration of cookies on user end devices.

The data collected about you in this context is processed by Meta Ireland Ltd and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (see also “Third country transfers” below). What information Meta receives and how it is used is described in more general terms in Meta’s data policy. Meta does not conclusively and clearly state how Meta uses the data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Meta stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties, and we are not aware of this. When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Meta. According to Meta, this IP address is anonymized (for “German” IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Meta also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the “login notification” function); Meta may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users. If you are currently logged in to Facebook, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your device. This enables Meta to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites enable Meta to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you.

Data processing on our X page

We use the technical platform and services of X Corp., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103 U.S.A. (formerly known as Twitter). Twitter International Company, One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2 D02 AX07, Ireland, is responsible for the data processing of persons living in the European Union, EFTA States, or the United Kingdom.

We would like to point out that you use the X short message service offered here and its functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. sharing or rating).

We have no influence on the type and scope of the data processed by X, the type of processing and use or the transfer of this data to third parties, nor do we have any effective control options in this respect. By using X, your personal data will be collected, transferred, stored, disclosed, and used by X Corp. and transferred to, stored and used in the United States, Ireland and any other country in which X Corp. does business, regardless of your place of residence (see also “Third country transfers” below). On the one hand, X processes your voluntarily entered data such as name and username, e-mail address, telephone number or the contacts in your address book when you upload or synchronize it. On the other hand, X also evaluates the content you share to determine which topics you are interested in, stores and processes confidential messages that you send directly to other users and can determine your location using GPS data, wireless network information or your IP address in order to send you advertising or other content.

X Corp. may use analysis tools such as Twitter- or Google-Analytics for evaluation purposes. We have no influence on the use of such tools by X Corp. and have not been informed of such potential use. If tools of this kind are used by X Corp. for our account, we have neither commissioned, approved nor supported this in any other way. The data obtained during the analysis is also not made available to us. Only certain non-personal information about tweet activity, such as the number of profile or link clicks on a particular tweet, is visible to us via your account. Furthermore, we have no way of preventing or disabling the use of such tools on your X account.

Finally, X also receives information when you view content, for example, even if you have not created an account. This so-called “log data” may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, information about the website you previously visited and the pages you viewed, your location, your mobile service provider, the device you are using (including device ID and application ID), the search terms you used and cookie information.

X buttons or widgets integrated into websites and the use of cookies enable X to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your X profile. This data can be used to tailor content or advertising to you. Due to the fact that X Corp. is a non-European provider with a European branch only in Ireland, it is not bound by German data protection regulations according to its own interpretation. This concerns, for example, your rights to information, blocking or deletion of data or the possibility to object to the use of usage data for advertising purposes.

You have the option of restricting the processing of your data in the general settings of your X account and under “Privacy and security”. On mobile devices (smartphones, tablet computers), you can also restrict X’s access to contact and calendar data, photos, location data, etc. in the settings options there. However, this depends on the operating system used.

We also process your data. We do not collect any data ourselves via your X account. However, the data you enter on X, in particular your user name and the content published under your account, will be processed by us to the extent that we may re-tweet your tweets or reply to them or write tweets from us that refer to your account. The data you freely publish and share on X is thus included by us in our offer and made accessible to our followers.

Data processing on our XING page

XING is a social network operated by New Work SE, Am Strandkai 1, 20457 Hamburg, Germany. Members can use it primarily to manage their professional and private contacts and make new contacts. Organizations can set up a page with a logo and short profile, post news and initiate discussion groups.

A personal profile with administrator rights must be assigned to the company profile. The dialog in groups can only take place via the personal profile of a natural person.

To use the network functions, you must be registered as a user. There is a free basic version and a paid version with additional functions. In contrast to other social networks, XING is based more on a combination of personal and electronic contact and is less commercial and less visual. The focus is on professional exchange on specialist topics with people who have the same professional interests. In addition, XING is often used by companies and other organizations to recruit personnel and present themselves as an attractive employer. To this end, XING is linked to the employer rating platform kununu.

Data processing on our LinkedIn page

We also use the services of LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA. LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland is responsible for the data processing of persons living in the European Union, European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland.

When you visit our LinkedIn page, LinkedIn collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide statistical information about the use of the site.

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by LinkedIn and transferred to countries outside the European Union (see also “Third country transfers” below). Data processing on our YouTube page

We would like to point out that you use the YouTube page and its functions at your own risk. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating).

The data collected about you when you use the service is processed by Google and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (see also “Third country transfers” below). This includes your IP address, the application used, information about the device you are using (including device ID and application ID), information about websites accessed, your location, your mobile phone provider and other information stored on your PC in the form of cookies.

This data is assigned by Google to the data of your YouTube account or your Google account. We have no influence on the type and scope of the data processed by Google, the type of processing and use or the transfer of this data to third parties. Google describes what information it collects and processes in general terms in its privacy policy. If you are currently logged in to YouTube or Google as a user, a cookie with your personal identifier is stored on your device. This enables Google to understand that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Google pages. Google/YouTube buttons integrated into websites enable Google/YouTube to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your

Google profile or your YouTube account. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of YouTube and Google or deactivate the “stay signed in” function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This will delete Google information that can be used to identify you directly. This allows you to use our YouTube channel without revealing your personal identifier. If you access interactive functions on the site (like, comment, share, etc.), a YouTube login screen will appear. After logging in, you will once again be recognizable to YouTube/Google as a specific user.

As the provider of the YouTube channel, we only collect and process the statistical data automatically provided to us by YouTube regarding the use of the channel. In addition, we may process your personal data to moderate the comment function or to respond to inquiries sent directly to us.

To set up the YouTube channel, we have selected the most privacy-friendly settings possible.

Data processing on our Instagram page

We use Instagram, a service of Meta Ireland Ltd, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland.

When you visit our Instagram page, Meta collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the Instagram page, with statistical information about the use of the Instagram page.

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Meta and transferred to countries outside the European Union (see also “Third country transfers” below). Meta describes in general terms what information Meta receives and how it is used in its privacy policy. How Meta uses the data from visits to Instagram pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Instagram page are assigned to individual users, how long Meta stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Instagram page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by Meta and is not known to us.

When you access an Instagram page, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Meta. According to Meta, this IP address is anonymized (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Meta also stores information about the end devices of its users (for example, as part of the "login notification" function); Meta may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged into Instagram as a user, a cookie with your Instagram ID is stored on your device. This enables Meta to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Instagram pages. Instagram buttons integrated into websites enable Meta to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Instagram profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you.

If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Instagram or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. In this way, Instagram information that can be used to directly identify you will be deleted. This allows you to use our Instagram page without revealing your Instagram ID. If you access interactive functions on the page (like, comment, message and others), an Instagram login screen will appear. After logging in, you will once again be recognizable to Instagram/Meta as a user.

As the provider of the information service, we do not collect and process any other data from your use of our service.

Data processing on our Reddit page

Reddit is a social news aggregator, a website on which registered users can post/offer content. Content can consist of either a link or a text post. Other users can rate the posts as positive or negative. The ratings indicate the position of the post on the respective Reddit page and the homepage.

Data processing on our TikTok page

We use the social network TikTok, provided by TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland.

When you visit our TikTok page, TikTok may collect your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the TikTok site, with statistical information about the use of the TikTok site.

The data collected about you in this context may be processed by TikTok and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (see also "Third country transfers" below).

How TikTok uses the data from visits to TikTok pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the TikTok page are assigned to individual users, how long TikTok stores this data and whether data from a visit to the TikTok page is passed on to third parties is not clearly stated by TikTok and is not known to us.

Third country transfers

The data collected about you as described above is processed by the social network providers and may be transferred to countries outside the EU / EEA, particularly the USA. Except for Xing (as this provider is based within the EU) Reddit and TikTok all the aforementioned providers are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the EU Commission within the meaning of Art. 45 GDPR regarding the transfer of personal data to the USA) and are therefore committed to complying with European data protection principles. In addition, we have concluded so-called EU standard contractual clauses (“SCCs”) pursuant to Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR, with Reddit, TikTok as well as the other providers (except for Xing, as this provider is based within the EU) in which the providers undertake to comply with the EU data protection level.

3. What data protection rights do you have

Every data subject has

the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR,
the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR,
the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR,
the right to object under Art. 21 GDPR (see section 6 below)
and the right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR.

The restrictions under Sections 34 and 35 German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) apply to the right to information and the right to erasure.

In addition, you have the right to file a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG). You can generally assert your rights against both us and the provider of the respective social network.

4. Data security

We only handle personal data to the extent that this is possible in accordance with data protection regulations. We also take all necessary technical and organizational security measures to adequately protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse at all times.

Insofar as we store or otherwise process personal data, this takes place within a high-security data center. To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods (e.g. TLS) via HTTPS. Our servers are protected by firewalls and virus protection. Back-up and recovery procedures as well as role and authorization concepts are a matter of course for us.

Our employees are obliged to comply with the provisions of the GDPR and the BDSG when handling data.

5. Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.

6. Information about your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR
