About Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW)
The DHBW provides education for over 34,000 students at 12 locations, together with around 9,000 partner companies. Since the employees at the Karlsruhe location also work from home and 700 lecturers teach remotely, the seven-person IT department has to take care of numerous devices at different locations.
The Challenge
Smooth Remote Software in the campus network
Until 2020, the IT department at DHBW Karlsruhe had direct contact with its users when performing their work. The need for Remote Access first arose during the Coronavirus crisis.
