The HAAS Media Group distributes several daily newspapers with a total circulation of around 102,000 copies, The publishing house has 23 subsidiaries with a total of 700 employees. 600 employees at 12 locations work in an IT-related capacity and are therefore dependent on the central IT department, which is responsible for the entire media group.
The Challenge
A suitable solution for Secure Remote Support
In the event of technical problems among the scattered workforce, the IT department of the HAAS Media Group intervenes via Remote Access. In addition, there are so-called Power Users who offer software training via Remote Access. Data protection was the top priority when choosing the right solution. Other Remote Access tools posed security risks and were not compatible with the HAAS Media Group's operating system. This is why they decided for the On-Premises solution of AnyDesk.

All they have to do is name the client, and the IT person can quickly connect. Each client is given a user-specific image, making them easily identifiable, and is also secured with complex passwords.
