Legacy licenses are the older licenses we offered under our previous licensing model. These licenses were user-based, meaning you paid for the number of users on your team.

Our new licensing model is connection-based, which gives you the flexibility to choose the number of connections you need rather than the number of users. These new licenses provide a more flexible, scalable, and cost-effective solution to meet your needs.

No, legacy licenses do not get access to updates introduced for our new license model. We recommend upgrading to one of our new licenses to take full advantage of the latest updates.

Upgrading your license is simple. Just click the "Upgrade Now" button on the main page of your my.anydesk portal and you will be redirected to the web shop, where you can finalize the upgrade in a few clicks. If you prefer to talk to one of our license experts, click the "Contact Us" button on this page and they will assist you with the upgrade.

No, there's no need to reinstall AnyDesk after you upgrade your license.

There should be no downtime during the upgrade, so you can start using your new license as soon as you upgrade. However, the data migration from my.anydesk I to my.anydesk II can take up to a couple of hours to be finalized.

We recommend migrating to my.anydesk II to enjoy all the latest features and functionalities that aren't available on my.anydesk I – which will be phased out soon.

Migrating to my.anydesk II is easy. Go to my.anydesk.com and sign in with your license credentials. Open the License tab and click Migrate to my.anydesk II. You can find a step-by-step tutorial here: https://support.anydesk.com/knowledge/account-migration.

Your data is migrated to my.anydesk II. However, after the migration, any changes you make in my.anydesk I will not be synchronized with my.anydesk II and vice versa.

Yes, you will be able to keep your current session history. If you upgrade to a Solo license, the last 5 sessions in your history will be preserved. In case you upgrade to a higher license, such as Standard or Advanced, your current session history will be fully saved and migrated.

No, you can keep your custom clients from your previous license. Your custom clients can also be migrated from my.anydesk I to my.anydesk II.

The number of devices you can control at the same time depends on your license.
